Over-processing is defined as doing work that is not valued by the customer. It is possible that we are over-processing in different areas which increases the turnaround time for patients from order received to report approved. In this Kaizen event we will map the Radiology Associates patient process from end to end in detail and identify all the things we are currently doing that we could COMPLETELY STOP doing altogether.
